unless your driver's license number changed (opened with a different state DL), there should be no issues. Yes, I work for a bank.

I’ve never heard this being an issue. And I opened my account in LA, live in and have a TN drivers license, and use a branch in MS a vast majority of the time.

Do you own money to the IRS or have any judgements? They are about to take your money.

I would agree with others in that its likely an issue with your DL not being correct info for what the bank has on file, as opposed to anything else. I don't think my bank enters or runs my DL they just look at it to make sure its correct.

For example, maybe you have a new address or the birthdate is wrong as said? IDK

Do you have many transactions in the 10k range? You could be flagged for structuring is my only thought.

Credit score has nothing to do with a cashiers check… whether you have $9000 in the bank is another story. Also depending on the outstanding credits could be possible.

However, I would suspect your DL has been flagged for some reason like pending lawsuit, divorce proceedings, delinquent taxes, duplicate DL, DL reported lost/stolen

DL is rejected a lot because at some point in renewing my license someone got fat fingered and made a 1year incorrect birth date that I must go to the parish court to correct.

My car got flooded in Isaac, so my uncle offered me a truck he bought after Katrina that was no longer being used much. I get all the shite that's required from DMV and pay the fees. So far, so good ...
The title eventually comes in the mail and my first name is misspelled (transposed letters) because the chimps typing vehicle title info apparently don't have the time, or more likely, the inclination to proofread their work.
I go back to the DMV with the incorrect title and request a corrected one. And I swear to God this is true: She tells me, "it's not going to matter." I told her, "Well, it might matter down the road and id like it corrected now." Her response? "That'll be $54."
I told her it's ridiculous to expect me to pay their error and that I know how to spell my name. (A simple Biblical name, not some bullsit like Quantavious or something with a bunch of hyphens or apostrophes.)
"It's $54 for a new title."
FUUUUUCK!!!

I've been to the DMV multiple times for other matters since then and request a new title each time. I still have to pay for their error. The only difference is the price goes up every visit.

I hate the DMV.

LA had a faulty batch of inspection stickers / brake tags with bad glue. Mine fell off my windshield. I went to get a new one and... they told me I had to pay for it.
