Turning Points was a good idea and was a success

Nothing was going to put a dent on the Super Bowl and worldwide appeal of Bad Bunny

Both statements can be true

I agree with this. I actually have no problem with Bad Bunny performing in the SB, has no impact on my life. I honestly didn't think TPUSA would even have over 5M views, pretty impressed with how many people tuned in.

So a lot of large groups watched TPUSA but the large crowds that watched the halftime show at bars and viewing parties on the same tv don’t also get credit? Lmao. You guys can spin it however you’d like.

Of course they get credit; they both do. I didn't spin anything, just pointed out OP was wrong.

people with a grudge didn't tune in through every avenue to watch the turning point show?

I would think every single person that tuned in to watch kid rock sing on a screen probably had a reason other than wanting to see some good music.

Same goes for the millions of woke white ppl we who don't normally watch football to tune in to see bunny sing lyrics in Mexican that they don't understand but yet it was "wildly entertaining" and "gave us hope".

Oh look, another OT Moderate.

I'm 50. There have been alternate halftime shows since the 1980s. Get over yourself. We get it. Anyone to the right of Stalin is a racist.

Millions of people who don't watch football tune into the halftime show every single year. It doesn't matter who is performing. And it isn't limited to race or political affliction.

Better viewership than a Notre Dame game

The TPUSA "All-American Halftime Show" on Feb. 8, 2026, drew over 6 million concurrent viewers at its peak on YouTube. Combined with other platforms like Rumble, total live viewership surpassed 6 million, with some reports indicating up to 10 million viewers across various social media platforms.

Peak Viewership: The main YouTube stream reached approximately 6.1 million concurrent viewers.

Total Reach: Total views for the 25-minute show reached over 19 million by early Monday morning.

A ton of those people probably didn't even watch either

They just live in a perpetual self-loathing/guilt trip cycle that requires them to praise it, black out their social media, so forth.

Go watch the videos on social media without the piped in crowd cheers. It was completely dead in the stadium. No one wanted that shite.

People were hate watching or just didn't change the channel on their tv.

I'm guessing social media was on fire yesterday from both sides of the aisle filled with those self-loathing oppressed people.

In fairness, this is the same every year. Really bad live artists like rappers or this dude are terrible in a building with good acoustics picked for their style of performance - they're horrendous in an open stadium.

Honestly, I thought NBC did a good job accounting for that with all the movement, it seemed a lot more vibrant and energetic than I'm sure it was in the stadium.

You're never going to have any energy in a stadium halftime show unless you get a band that plays stadiums (and can do them well). Which doesn't appeal to the NFL.

I can't wrap my head around that. Not saying it isnt true but I just have a hard time believing it.

Going to a concert/show on person? Yes. Specifically saying aside time to sit down and watch one on a screen? Gtfoh

Not hard to explain. Superbowl Sunday is a defacto US holiday. It's a cultural event and an excuse to bond.

I remember a few years ago the Weeknd tried to do something similar with the "house of mirrors" effect and it fell flat. I'm glad they figured out how to get the different angles to make the movement feel right
