So no bacon for Cali means a glut of pork belly for the rest of us...at lower prices.

Because you’re wrong. But continue to simp for the corporate food conglomerates. I’m sure they appreciate it.

Another one who is spiritually empty with no semblance of nobility.

Nah. I don’t pretend to have all the answers. But I do know that our current factory farming methods are horrid.

You just care about your base instincts, so you don’t care to acknowledge that. You’re barely above the animals that you eat.

Interesting plays by California. Due to size of population, it consumes high levels of consumer products. It’s state government uses that as a weapons, forcing producers to adjust or shrink.

No no no, you said if the people voted for then why did I have a problem with it and THEN said I was wrong to support the current conditions at all. So you’re saying the opinion itself is wrong. That’s my issue here. I kill a lot of what I eat so I don’t have as big of a dog in this fight, but the reason I say you’re a pussy is because you think you’re objectively right.

You’re forcing your opinion on other people which prices people out of eating meat at all. If you can afford “free range” go ahead, but you’re fricking other people the opportunity to do so.

This is why those of you who are just focused on price are spiritually empty. This is why the food corporations are starting to focus on pushing bugs and worms as viable protein sources. Why not? They’re cheap. We need to give the people the ability to eat their protein.

And I’m a pussy because I think we should treat animals humanely ? I’m not a Christian, but even the Bible directs man to do so.

Who the frick proposes legislation/votes for such ridiculous shite?

the same morons that push legislation to reduce the normal work week hours to 32, so it would open up more ability to get overtime for workers. like all companies out there allow overtime regularly now, I'm sure they would gladly pay that extra 8 hours overtime every week. /Sarcasm off

The market can decide the value of “inhumanely” processed meats, just as I can choose not to buy the worms or whatever the hell you’re on about. You’re talking about getting rid of it all together, which makes it not a market choice for people to decide.

You are saying anyone that disagrees with you is wrong. Bible has nothing to do with that argument. Why do you feel like it’s your job to decide what’s “spiritually empty” for people?

I don’t think we’re gonna get anywhere here, but frick, you’re being purposefully obtuse. Or just don’t believe in capitalism which is another argument.

Have a nice night.

Chicken farmers get fricked by Tyson, Pilgrims, etc.

This is an understatement. The entire model is built on fricking their growers, particularly smaller or moderate-sized, family-owned chicken farms. There are so many stories of farmers who were fricked over simply because the companies could. There has been an effort to drive smaller operations out of the business entirely, and it is done via the pocketbook and ridiculous contracts.

Not if you want actual Foie gras, it can't.

I’m not religious.

And did you miss my multiple posts where I stated that I eat meat and I’m not against killing animals for food? Or, as is more likely the case, are you just retarded?
