Same. I lived in Austin off S. Congress in the early 2000s. It was beginning to decline by then, but was still a great place.
Total cesspool now.

Girl in the black top is starting to build up a resistance to the pepper spray

6th street in Austin is definitely known as a hood hangout. Nobody local has ventured down that way in over a decade. Shootings all the time. Maybe west 6th, but I’ve heard that’s gone downhill as well.
Anything decent has moved out to the outskirts.

it always cracks me up how women will "punch" each other 50 times in a street fight and usually not have a mark on them after.

She didn't get arrested. They just put her in a unit, took her somewhere quiet to do the special search for weapons or contraband, gave her a light snack, then dropped her at Waffle House.

I like how the cop is just casually hosing them down, lol

Clearly it wasn't her first foray with pepper spray.

I’ve seen better bent-over asses in the quad.

I’m ask my cousin - he works at The Hole in The Wall. He’ll have the scoop. He probably was one of the ones arrested.

Is that when the homeless "resource" center opened on 7th? I don't remember it being there in the late 90s, but I also avoided 6th like the plague.

Did the first cop who started pepper spraying just let the black girl run off in front of him (cop was possibly black/mixed or Arab). I did not see her handcuffed. She was grappling on the ground next to the 2 being peppered sprayed. They got the girl in the dress she was fighting with.
The girl in the pusha t shirt didn’t get appear to have gotten arrested as well, but she seemed to have walked away towards the building before first cop showed up in video.

Could make a duvet cover out of those leopard print patties.

Like Bourbon Street, just with the timeline pushed back a few years.

That's pretty far away from 6th street.
