Done.

Kidney cancer has one of the best outcomes after tx, assuming no metastasis.

Please say a prayer for my sister. She has a large tumor on one of her kidneys and the kidney will have to be removed. They don't want to biopsy until it is removed.
She is having an MRI today to make sure no other areas are impacted.

Thank you all very much!

UPDATE-We haven't heard from the physician directly (we are assuming the lack of urgency is good news) but according to her mychart, it would appear that the tumor hasn't metastasized to other areas.

She's home, feels decent and just waiting to hear a plan of action.

We thank you all for the prayers and are greatly appreciative.

UPDATE 2- She went to N.O. today to meet with the surgeon and to review her recent CAT scan.
Wonderful news! He says there is zero indication that the tumor is affecting any other areas and totally confident the kidney removal will go over w/o a hitch.

Please keep her in your prayers and thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Appreciate you dearly.

Friend of mine had the same thing about 12 years ago. Removed the kidney and he was fine. So hopefully that will be the same for your sister.

A massive tumor was found on my right kidney 5.5 years ago. A complete nephrectomy was performed and four suspicious lymph nodes were removed. Thankfully, it had not metastasized. My tumor was diagnosed as Stage 3 renal cancer. Never had chemo or radiation, as it doesn’t work well with renal cancer. Periodic CT scans were performed and will continue for the remainder of my life. With God’s grace, I continue to be cancer free today. I wish the same for your sister.
