We have a shitload here. But my little city has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the country.
Not surprising since it's a major cruise stop. Great little town you live in that's for sure.

People on here tend to hold views which chronologically are roughly 3 years behind.

I'm there 2-3 times a year and they have made an amazing turnaround since the bankruptcy. It seems they used it as rock bottom like an addict and chose not to die. Areas that were pure blight have become vibrant again.

I wouldn’t go as far as dying. Wichita is in the grey and they’ve been doing relatively decent for themselves

Unpopular thought on here but not everyone wants to live in the heart of a major city.
2)most people would rather not commute 45+ minutes, but have to because it’s what they can afford

Likely in this case. It’s probably been that long since I saw anything about Detroit.

What the hell is Grand Rapids-Wyoming?

Everyone talks about the big cities but who feeds them? The little rural towns that grow all the food that allows the big cities to not starve to death.

Intuition might suggest that it's an MSA in Michigan containing cities named--wait for it...Grand Rapids and Wyoming.

Keep it up city slicker. When the rapture occurs and you’ve done nothing but listen to queer progoganda don’t come crying to me and mines.

South and west are killing it.

So the economy is following the NBA model.

It might not be the Gilded Age, but I typically don't see a lot of farms in bigger cities
