Basic gist is, even though the country as a whole has seen huge job expansion since the 2008-9 crash, almost all of it has taken place in the top 40 fastest growing metro areas. And this is while, simultaneously, the metro areas in gray on the map below have been essentially dying.
What is the percentage of remote workers/online commuters?
I could live in Wyoming and work for a bank in Charlotte.

Maybe fore some. Unpopular thought on here but not everyone wants to live in the heart of a major city.
Are you some back woods bible thumping sister fricker? Why wouldn’t people want to live in a big city?

I'm wondering what kind of jump you'll see in the DC metro area when Amazon opens.

Liberal shitholes though.
Not all of them are liberal cities but even if they were wouldn't that be a sign that they're doing things right?

Wait, so the most successful places are Liberal cities? I'm calling bullshite.
It's places with the most job growth. It's all publicly reported data. How is it bullshite?
Posted on 7/19/19 at 11:09 am to LSUTigersVCURams
How does that correlate to population growth?

Mine either. I'd like to move to a smaller city than I live in now. Most cities with 60k have everything I need.

The only thing I would miss moving to a smaller city would be food options, besides that we don't really do anything we couldn't do in a smaller place

We have a shitload here. But my little city has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the country.
Still I don't dine out much, prefer to do it myself.
