"Racial makeup" is by far the most accurate indicator of how violent an area will be, no matter the size.

This website also counts people who have died in police custody even if the officers had nothing to do with the death.

I would venture to say of the 654 people killed by police 653 definitely deserved it and the last one was questionable but still probably deserved it.
People get up in arms about police use of force. However, these guys are making contact with hardened criminals on a daily basis that would love nothing other than to murder a police officer. Police officers need to act in their best interest to ensure they make it home to their families every night. If that means making a questionable call but them walking away, I'm all for it.

It's like the guy sitting at home with a beer saying WTF did my QB call THAT audible? You are under no pressure and probably can't understand any of what they go through.
They still need to prosecute those idiot cops that shoot a dude for reaching for his wallet or running from a nonviolent crime.

Thanks to SJW's, social networking and a media that sensationalizes this crap it has become more popular and the "it" thing for people to do now. Some people feel that if they are being questioned/stopped/detained by police for no reason, they have a right to fight back.
I will not be surprised to see this uptrend continue for years to come. I'm not saying there aren't bad cops but if you don't want further charges placed on you, or God forbid something worse to happen to you, then it's very simple. DON'T FIGHT WITH THE POLICE. Live to fight your battle in court if you feel your rights have been violated.

No but it does beg the question why some people are so arbitrary. I've never seen you address black on black violence nor black on white violence for that matter.
