Gotta love the irony of this picture.
A government agent shutting down a private business while half arse wearing a mask.

Ya, that one jumped out at me too.
It's the epitome of selfishness to expect others to sacrifice their lives or their families lives for your perceived feelings of safety.
But then that's what a large swath of this country has become....emotionally driven petulant children who will go cry to Daddy Government to fix all their problems and make them feel safe.

Jailing her was dumb, but a $500,000 GFM is also dumb.

that cop in the first pic is a beta male

I’d gladly spend a week to n jail for half a mil.

Has she been released yet? Didn’t the Texas AG order her to be released?

I'm just sitting here wondering what a a salon owner could do with half a million dollars.
Granted she's going to use some of that money to make up expenses she has to cover during Covid19 but there's still going to be a crazy amount of leftover money.

and what's interesting is since it's made up of small individual contributions (gifts), it should be tax free

Someone should train that cop how to wear a mask

quote:If mainstream media was on her side, then you’d see real publicity. Reporters would be camped outside the judge’s house, bombarding him with questions every time he stepped foot in public. Every TV news show would be doing interviews from the jail, and coverage would be non-stop, wall-to-wall with her name being seared into the American subconscious like Trayvon Martin or Cindy Sheehan.
the publicity she knew she would receive
Unfortunately, today’s media doesn’t defend freedom, so the publicity she’s getting is organic and only thanks to social media.

Odds are high this lady reopened solely for the publicity stunt and social media stir and not being her employees were “going hungry.”
Naturally, the thirsty soy boys couldn’t wait to donate to her like incels dropping cash on IG hoes only fans account.
If she were ugly AF, she’d not have sniffed a grand.

Exactly, that is a person in a position of power not showing any type of restraint. That is also a judge sitting there getting a salary regardless if he is in court or not. That hair dresser does not have that same option. This was beyond ridiculous.

I regret only having one downvote I can allocate to this post. You suck.

Good for her if she did.
Looks to be a great marketing strategy...

Welcome to 2020. Where a person with their own money wrapped up in their own business is jailed for opening up to prevent financial ruin In the face of massive government abuse and overreach is considered a “stunt.”

Of course it's a stunt to someone who agrees with the massive government abuse and overreach.
Bootlickers always defend the boot.

I would wonder if this Harvard Educated black judge would have done the same to a black salon owner?
BTW- these Harvard “leaders” they develop at that school are terrible.

I mean it absolutely could be a stunt.
It would change nothing about this though. It's the principle of the matter, not whether or not her children are literally starving to death.

I never said it couldn't. I just said for the people who support what the government has been doing here, they're of course going to assume it's a stunt regardless of the facts.
