Or just my house?
Seeing lots of wasps and dirt daubers this summer.
Is there any legit traps or preventative I can buy?

Every summer up in TN. They just like summer. And they hate me. I got stung twice in the head last year, do not recommend.

Should’ve walked the house months ago and sprayed every nest found

I’ve killed three red wasps in my house in the last 24 hours. That’s a first.

They’ve been extra bad. Worst I’ve seen them in years. Every couple of weeks I have to check under the eaves, the gutter edges, and the fence lines.

I was stung twice yesterday. It had been a long time since I was stung and it wasn't as bad as I remembered it.

Was watching some this morning fly around bumping into things on my porch. Looked like a drunk drone operator.

There are few things more fun than slaughtering those frickers

About 3 to 1 water to Dawn mixed in a pump sprayer and they drop like a rock and don't even flutter when they hit the ground.

Order some Demon (now Cyper WSP) powder online. Carefully mix it as instructed and spray your eaves, soffits, and everything with it.
No spiders, wasps, daubers, and so far no barn swallows.

Buy you some Taurus SC and mix in a pump sprayer per label. Spray house every March/April. Will not have any wasp at all. The giant red wasp would take up refuge at our camp in Tensas. Started doing this about 8 years ago and completely eliminated them from taking up residence.

Wasps are pollinators. With society on average moving away from heavy pesticide use and towards favoring native flowering plants, it wouldn’t surprise me to see all pollinators, including wasps, have a resurgence.

I hate them so much that when I see one starting a nest, I will just leave that bastard alone and let it work for days. Eventually, a few podnahs will show up to help and occupy. When I feel like they’ve exhausted their building effort, I will wait until dusk when it’s cooled and they’re all on the nest and “bam,” they get the wasp spray.

Just finished mowing and I definitely saw way more wasps today than I’ve seen in a long time. Was kind of wondering the same thing.

Data centers are attracting more to the area.
