Well, the scientific method is part of white culture. As is objective rational linear thinking. So I’m gonna go with yes, anything that can be measured in an objective manner is racist.

I will say that in today’s world, some students do not have the money to take all of the test prep courses offered.

The “test” has sort of taken on a life of its own.

I teach medical students. After sessions, their questions are basically, “what’s going to be on the test?”

Of course, this is because residency programs use the “test” to sort them.

The test prep industry has really grown. I had heard of Kaplan when I took the MCAT, but I most of us did not take the course.

Now I think everyone who has the money takes all prep courses.

You’re confusing the ACT with an IQ test

You don't need prep courses for the ACT

I took a Kaplan prep course for the MCAT but sure as hell wasn't worth the ridiculous amount of money. Half their advice is to highlight important terms and write down the main idea. The 3rd party practice material and books are great. Courses are not worth the price. Free content like Khan Academy is there.

Problem is these prep courses advertise ridiculous shite like "Guaranteed 95th percentile score with 6 weeks of this course".

Blacks, on both the SAT and ACT, do worse in the VERBAL/English sections..........than FIRST GENERATION IMMIGRANTS FROM MEXICO

This is true. Thomas Sowell thinks it is actually hurting Black Americans. A black male scores in the 75th percentile and gets into columbia.The rest of the students scored in the 99th to get in. That black male would be top of his classes at other schools, but struggle to keep up at columbia because he should never have been there. Black male sees himself as failure, when hes really not.
