Why is your house hot?

I've had TP and pillow top mattresses. I prefer the pillow top. Currently have a Simmons and it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slep on and it's not hot like my TP was.

I'm now 9 days on my tempurpedic mattress. First night was a little tough. Not used to a mattress that firm. However, I've noticed when I fall asleep I sleep. As in wake up in the morning and not a hair is out of place. My chiroquackter also noticed a difference in my back and neck as well. I'm still adjusting to this thing but I'm starting to really like it.

Now, the tempurpedic pillows? Tried one. Forget it.

I had a water bed when I was in middle school, and the heating pad failed in the middle of the night. I had no idea it could be that cold. Had to sleep on a couple of comforters.

I hate our temper-pedicure mattress. We have lower back pains from it. We have had it for 3 years. Every time we go out of town our pains go away. We are fit and skinny not fat so that's not the problem. I don't know if we sleep so well that we don't turn enough? I also think my lower back and hips sink in more and that may cause the pain.

I don't know what mattress to get.

We are opposite of above poster. I sleep great at home on our Tempurpedic. When I go out of town, even new hotel mattresses sometimes leave me in serious back pain. The only cure is getting home.

Ours is a mid-price model. We asked for the firm models, and chose on feel before looking at price. Fortunately, the price was right.

I will definitely buy another Tempurpedic when the time comes.

Yea, mine was comfortable but gave me horrible headaches. I never understood why b/c to me it felt great to lay on and neck aches went away but I woke up with bad headaches every morning till I stopped using it. Gave it over a month

I just bought a Tuft & Needle foam mattress about a month ago. I couldn't be happier.

I researched many brands on The Mattress Underground, which I found to have the most research and unbiased reviews on mattresses.
The T&N Queen size cost me $600 minus a 6.5% discount I got. They let you sleep on the mattress for 100 days to decide if you like it or not. They know it may not be for everyone. If within that time frame, you decide you don't like it, they ask that you donate it to a non profit and they'll refund you 100%. I figured I had nothing to lose.
I had originally planned to get the Sleep Innovations from Amazon, but at the time it was also running about $650 and Amazon only offered a 30 day return and how the hell was I going to get the mattress boxed back up?
Also the T&N is American made with American made high grade foam. The Sleep Innovations is not.

I've never slept better. It's not hot and it's a very firm mattress. You don't sink into it like most memory foam, which is a huge plus for me. Some T&N customers do think it's too firm and went with a Casper instead, which is also a great mattress, just less firm.

The T&N comes with a 10 yr warranty as well.
I'm really glad I didn't spend $6k on a mattress.

We got the breeze option and have had no more problems with heat than our old mattress. We do put the A/C on 68 when going to bed though.

Love my tempurpedic. Not hot at all
