re: Are Nicotine pouches the future or just a new "boner" fad?

I dropped dipping 5 years ago and have been using Zyn since then. She's on my arse all the time to quit spouting how it's unhealthy and I'm going to get cancer. If I mention that there's no proof nicotine alone causes cancer, I get the "the Zyn crap hasn't been around long enough to see long term effects"
The propaganda campaign against nicotine runs deep. It’s like caffeine, but treated like heroin. Retarded world we live in. All driven by insurance premiums resulting from smoking, which was once a recommended practice.

Could be worse baw. My wife saw one tic toc saying that nicotine causes sperm to be impotent and now says that I need to quit if we want to have a baby. Said that being on nicotine while trying to have a baby is harmful to the child
Lolz. I have been using nicotine for over 20 years and have two huge fiscal liabilities that were accidentally conceived while my sperm were under the influence of nicotine.

Smoking is good for you

I dipped a can, sometimes two, of Copenhagen a day since I was in high school- swtiched to the Zyn/Rouge/On, whatevers and I haven’t had a dip in 6 months.
I don’t see a downside- I don’t think nocotine is bad, just how we were getting it.
The pouches are so much cheaper- I would chain dip all day. Now, I get a pouch, don’t have to be gross, and maybe do 5-6 a day.

Weed also gives you higher mind insight that helps you see behind the curtain. If you smoke it for that reason you start becoming immune to people’s bullshite.
Never smoked weed as a teen or in my 20s. Started THC gummies in my late 30s. Not saying it’s for everyone but this statement is 100% true.

Back when about everyone smoked, they also had 5 or 6 kids.

25 mg ephedra/tablet.
Buy from the store instead of online.
Found cheaper prices online but the pills were fake.

I went from a can of dip a day at $7/can, to a tin of On! Every 2 days at $3.50/can. That's over $1900/year in savings, plus the fact that it's a much healthier alternative.
I am ok with this brand of trashy.

Nicotine is a wonder drug
Sounds like addict speak.
It may have some beneficial benefits. But the fact that you're jonesing like a fiend after about 2-3 hours without it speaks volumes.
Having said that...yes, Zyn is a much better alternative than actual chewing tobacco or smoking.
I quit dipping 10 years ago because I got tired of my life being the thing I did between dips.

Ardis explores the controversial topic of nicotine.
The inverse link between nicotine and COVID was something that was discovered by insurance companies. I work(ed) for one at the time. We expected to see smokers drop like flies during COVID, because of all the obvious respiratory conditions.
But that's not what happened. Smokers (dippers aren't usually known to insurance companies, btw) had a much lower mortality rate for COVID than anyone expected. We found that in the claims and mortality data, but it was never published. Our med director couldn't articulate why, so it was largely just ignored, and not released publicly.
But I can tell you that when I got COVID, I kept zynning. There's a direct link between COVID spike proteins and nicotine receptors. In essence, when you have nicotine in your system, there isn't enough "blank space" in your brain for covid to connect to. While yes, I got sick, I never had any form of brain fog or cognitive issues that most people complained about.
Nicotine isn't bad for you. The way you get it or consume it usually is.

precisely, nicotine gets the rap for all the shite that big tobacco puts in cigarettes that's the actual culprit for why cigarettes are terrible and addictive

Speaks volumes about what? I am 100% addicted to caffeine and nicotine and I 100% DGAF. It makes absolutely no difference in my life and makes me happier and more focused. I will pop a lozenge in front of anyone at anytime. I am never without them.

Go to your local Planet Nutrition and pick up a bottle of V-Core or Stimerex. It's legal
I don't see anything about V-Core having anything like that in it. Are you sure that is the name?

I used the patches and I went through the entire program and they worked for me. I have been quit since Thanksgiving of last year
Some days are worse than others as far as still wanting a cigarette but all in all I remained strong

Patches got me through it.
Started with one on each arm.
Dropped to one and ultimately forgot about smoking or nicotine.
Tried a Zyn a year ago and it put me on the couch dizzy. Tossed the rest.

both of those also have Yohimbe in them and while I have an extremely high tolerance for stimulants that's one that drives me up the wall and I avoid
YMMV

I wasn't aware they have yohimbe.
I take a small enough dose that I've never noticed.
