For solid hardwood furniture, not upholstered I can recommend Clore Furniture in Brightwood Virginia.

Simple classic furniture that lasts, I have some that was my Grandmother's, some that was my Mother's and other pieces that match theirs that I bought for myself.

About 3 years ago now I stopped shopping at places like Ashley and Rooms2Go and went to a real furniture store and bought a Flexsteel leather power reclining soda and matching love seat. 3 years and a ton of heavy use later this thing looks and feels brand new.

Lee is a good line of upholstered furniture - at least as of a few years back. They offer ranges of materials and styles for order.

If you're looking to spend real money, Hancock and Moore is the best around. Solid wood frame and hand made in the USA. Be ready to pay though.

We bought some Bradington Young couches a few years back. Number 2 producer and not built to the same level as Hancock and Moore. Solid leather couches that are beautiful and timeless design. Paid about 2400 each.

LazyBoy isn’t trash and it was a very pretty penny that was worth every one.

You answered your post within your post. My lazyboy is amazing. I have had it for seven years now, still in great shape. Wouldn't buy any other type of recliner.

Blank to blank furniture sucks. So don't go there.

My Basset and Ethan Allen furniture has held up well for over a decade. I also got some great pieces from Olinde's, but they are going out of business.

As long as sofa is 8 way hand tied it should last as long as it will be in style. If you have kids or neighbors who spill red wine I recommend the higher end Sunbrella indoor outdoor fabrics as well. We had our chairs and sofa made by Lee Industies in NC. Very satisfied with quality.

My house is almost entirely furnished with shite I’ve picked up on the cheap at local auctions and refurbished.

Can’t imagine buying furniture from IKEA or other similar companies
