that is all

I live fairly close to a large Amish community and the only thing Amish about Amish Furniture is the sale people. They import it from North Carolina.

We spent 6300 on a pottery barn sectional. It came in and that thing had “made in Vietnam. Assembled in the USA” all over it. Returned it for a full refund.

most of these sofa manufacturers just flat out suck.

Wife is looking for some BR furniture to replace what the kids took when they moved out. Running into the same problem. Most of the good reputable stores for quality stuff are gone. Dont even know where to start.

Another vote for restoration hardware. Leather couch we got is the most comfortable thing I've ever sat on

Go to the Bassett site and build a custom couch. I had one quoted, it was like 13k. My relatives have inevand it is the first real piece of furniture I have seen in some time.

That is like asking who the best looking Instawhore is.

You gotta search around and see what is right for you.

Unfortunately, most furniture is made for the showroom not the livingroom. To most people, the look is what makes the sale and they only think about comfort after it is too late. Most designers and manufacturers couldn't care less about comfort or longevity. They certainly don't want to build furniture that will last decades. That greatly reduces sales.

I was kinda thinking about possibly giving theater seat store a chance. They have a couple-a pieces I like. Anyone know anything about them?
