Ive been hunting for a new sofa and so far what I have seen, even from lazyboy is most of these sofa manufacturers just flat out suck. Mostly its in the sofa cushions going flat in no time. Any recommendations?

Amazing when you look at craftsmanship of antique 17th, 18th century furniture and compare it to today's shite from China.

I'm currently sitting on the most comfortable LazyBoy sofa -- and we've had it for probably 15 years. I dread the day that I need to shop for a new one. We had the cushions on the back redone at the store (was under warranty) but other than that it looks and feels as good as the day we bought it.

You have to want to spend some money.

LayZboy is cheap construction with a high price.

Your suspicions are correct. Rooms2go and Haverties furniture is trash. Even the "high end" stuff they sell is trash. Unfortunately, I can't answer your question as to where to get good stuff. When you figure it out, let me know.

At least Ikea is somewhat priced accordingly for how cheap it is.

Yeah, I was highly skeptical of Lazyboy, but we got a crazy stupid deal on a sectional there 7 or 8 years ago that has held up extremely well and is very comfortable.

We bought a sofa from Restoration Hardware last year. It’s nice and it’s comfortable.

Man I just bought expensive stuff and it’s not nearly as durable as I had hoped.

Stressless— recliners and other sitting apparatuses.

Made in Scandinavia.

Customizable.

Not cheap...but you requested good stuff.

Pottery Barn is legit.

Their sofas are super comfy and last forever.
