The head phone jack on my phone is the same hole you charge the phone with.
I can't charge my phone and listen to music at the same time like i used to wtih the 5.

ETA: I must have an iPhone 7. They gave this phone from the apple store about two months ago. I thought they said it was the 6.

This is what my old phone looked like

This is what my new "more efficient" phone looks like. It blows not being able to charge my phone and listen to music at the same time. I would not suggest getting the 7.

must be a 7.

That is when they just went to lighting port. I think it had a lot to do with making phone more water resistant.

Its defenitly a 7. Everything Ive seen online with the 6 has the head phone jack. You're right. I don't even know what kind of phone I have and I'm complaining about its technology .

After years of being an obnoxious fan boy I’m getting very disillusioned with them. It started a couple of years ago with a bad expieirience with Apple care. Then this whole I to a box auto correct. When I upgraded to the new operating system my IPhone 6+ has become a paper weight because the batter runs down in like an hour of use. Then they bring out the very expensive IPhone X that really has no life altering features and say that it is the future.

I had a buddy that worked there that recently left because he said the excitement there seems more about the past than the future. Has Apple’s glory days reached a tipping point?

what has android done that is exciting? I have a samsung s8+ and it is a piece of junk. I feel liked I clicked alot less to do the same thing with my old iphone 6+. The battery life is way worse. I dont even want to get into all the weird bugs I have found. I agree with you in a sense about the life altering features... I feel like there are no enhancements that are groundbreaking on any of the new phones so they are doing shite just to change it up. The piece of shite curved edges on the s8 which makes it impossible to put a screen protector that doesnt break in a few days and really serves no purpose. getting rid of the fingerprint sensor which is the one thing that worked great, or putting it on the back of the phone where it is worthless.

Id rather have a slightly larger phone and have better battery life. Or how about a dual sim phone that supports both att and verizon? thats shite I can get behind.

Yes, steve had a vision. His predecessors are a bunch of talentless idiots. They needed a youngblood who knew what would wow people. Apple needs a new product line

The word you were looking for was “successors”.

you went from a 5 or 5s to a 7.

i'm still on a 6s, so I haven't had to deal with the phone jack stuff. But I have blue tooth head phones, so I'm hoping it won't be an issue. I do use non blue tooth ear buds from time to time.

Without Steve Jobs to lead them they're just another tech company.

This is actually a good solution for me, but I'm too lazy to go buy one, and I never use bluetooth.

What the hell are you doing on your phone? They are used to talk, text, play games, and search the internet. What are clicking so much?

What i don't understand is why are all these piece of shite easily breakable phones $1000?
You want a 7" tablet, $250. You want the 10", $350. You want a 6" phone that does all the same things the tablet does, $1000.
Generally when something is smaller, it's cheaper.

My iPhone 6+ still works great on the latest update. Maybe you’re holding it wrong.

I'm still using a 4.

It's so far behind that I sometimes have trouble using my wife's 8.

Oh good I’m not the only one. This shite is ridiculous. After a full charge it takes at least 2 hours to get to 50%. Damn near gotta charge it twice a day

Can't replace the batteries and can't add a micro SD card.

Two main reasons I switched to Android years ago.

Yep, dude was as an a-hole, but damn did he dream big and because of that he revolutionized the computer, music and phone industries.

He is the Isaac Newton of our generation.

Android sheep are just as bad. Anytime there is a post regarding Apple they show up. It is like putting corn out for deer in September.

The post could be “Only Apple owners I have a problem I need help with”. First three responses “buy an Android”.

That it not true for technology. It is always more expensive and challenging to make small technology v large technology.
