Are you referring to how when I go type a word that starts with p Pornhub is the first thing that pops up? Yeah, that shits annoying. Only a matter of time before I accidentally type Pornhub in a text and don’t notice it

Had iPhone 5 and 5s. Both worked fine and had very little issues. Lost the 5s while on vacation. Switched to Galaxy S6. It was a complete piece of junk after a very short amount of time. Battery life was maybe a few hours. It would freeze all the time. Internet would drop constantly (WiFi) no matter whose WiFi I was on. I would get kicked out of group chats. Lost the phone sometime earlier this year, so I got a new one through my insurance. Exact same problems.

Got iPhone 8+ a couple months ago when it came out. Other than the I issue that I really just found funny, I’ve had no other problems. I’m someone with my face in my phone constantly and it hasn’t even died yet since having it. I charge it every other night - not even every night.

I’m far from a fanboy; but for me there’s no denying how much better this is than the Samsung I had.

I’ve been an iPhone guy for years. There are currently 5 different iPhones in my house. But I’ve seriously been eyeballing the Pixel and the OnePlus 5T. iOS 11 was a complete hack job and charging $1K for the X is a joke.

I might give them another year. We’ll see.

It was obvious to me 3-4 years ago.

Pretty much this. Looking at Samsung, but everything in my house is iCrap. Work for a Telcom, so all my work devices are cRapple. Moving to a new platform is gonna be a PITA.

This new software update is bullshite though. Major performance issues on my 6s. Also, with the constant app updates, I burn through data like a whore through coke.

Apple is not the same. Even workers at the Apple Store are not as helpful as they used to be. I will continue to get iPhones for the foreseeable future but they have indeed slipped. I hate my 6+ and I will never auto update apps again.

Apple and Android are almost the same product now.

Yes and no. Apple has certain touches that are nice. Example; when closing an audio app the audio fades out. Android apps just stops the app.

I was given as a gift 100 shares of Apple stock in 1984 which was valued about $7.50 a share. When Jobs was canned around 84-85 the stock dropped to around $2 and I just forgot about it really. Somewhere in the late 80’s I used my tax refund (the last time I ever got one) to buy another hundred shares around $4.

I still own those. It split a few years ago. Other than my Exxon and Monsanto it is probably the only stock I’ve bought that actually did anything.

So my house is pro-apple.

Apple has always sucked. The only two products they ever produced that were better than the competitions were the iPod and the 1st gen AppleTV.

Yeah OK. I got the original iPhone right when it came out and it was like alien technology compared to any other bullshite windows or whatever phone was available at the time. Yes others have caught up and surpassed in some cases but the original iPhone was a game changer.

Apple pulled in All of the "wanna be different" crowd for many years.
Not being negative, but I find very few who left android systems for Apple, but many who did the opposite. If you try a couple of the too android devices, you'll kick yourself for fighting with making yourself happy with Apple.

This is more a product of late Stage capitalism

There is no incentive to innovative because sheep will pay year after year for gimmicky features

I've had more problems with this 7 than all my previous iPhones combined.

I have an iPhone 8+ as well. It’s a beast. The battery lasts for days.

This is so true the only thing apple is good at is marketing and making people think it’s special
