Would've been great if a different car ran him over.

When another car runs into the back of that CyberCab and it's this dude's fault.

Ah my bad. This is making the rounds on social media

That makes sense, but would you really be surprised if this wasn't a thing in Austin?

Seems like that kind of testing would be better done on a non-public street so that you don't cause an accident.

Dude is a jerk for that, but it definitely shows a big problem around the horizon for these cabs.

Should be legal for a human driver of any other passenger vehicle to hit anyone doing this

How would you argue it's his fault? He never jumps in front of the vehicle.

I am more interested in seeing a passenger in the cab who just got bounced off the dashboard getting out and beating the hell out of this guy. There is no way this is sanctioned testing by the company. Some dude in shorts holding a camera jumping in front of the cab on a public street with traffic? No.

Reminds me of the hundreds of bird scooters that got thrown in Ladybird lake in Austin before they started outlawing them.

Humans will always frick things up. Always.

I want to watch the videos of them testing the series of front bumper tasers that deploy when a douchebag jumps in front of the car.

We could have monorails everywhere, clean streets, safe neighborhoods, a "Star Trek" optimistic future, but we have to spend millions (if not billions) babysitting and micromanaging r-tards.
