Thoughts and prayers for the officer. I hope he eventually recovers from such a brutal assault.

Some more info.

LPM tried to request body camera footage of the other officers on the scene that also should have had their cameras on. Here’s the response:

What I see.

SS slowly pulls up. Cop runs up. SUV sits there for a while. My take, SS was arguing and arguing with the cop . Bad move. He has the gun, you don’t. Not saying he should have been cuffed, but he should have immediately asked the cop , “officer, where would you like for me to go?” Then, text the PGA of America President and let him know the story. Let him handle it.

What friggin whales vaginas. Imagine if this is not on video, and not some nationally known golf player. The cop's decisions could have ruined someone's life over a nothing burger.

What BS speculation. Next time, choose not to respond, please. Do us all the favor of sharing "what you see."

This is disgusting behavior. What an embarrassment for the city of Louisville that charges haven’t been dropped yet. Cops should lose jobs.

Maybe he hesitated because he wasn't sure that the psychopath that was approaching his vehicle was a cop, because who would think that a cop would run up to their vehicle and strike it with a flashlight?

So based on what I see there are two stories. The one SS told about the incident and the one the police reports tells about the incident. Its obvious from the video that cop did not get "dragged" at all and ran himself into the car.

They must teach narrative fiction at the average police academy. Seriously, Mark Twain would have trouble turning what I saw into what is written in that police report.

Given this inconsistency, I would have to believe Scottie Scheffler's version of what happened is more accurate.

There were also several journalists that had similar stories to Scottie’s version

You and I would be fighting for our lives in the same scenario. That's fricked up.

Just think of all the people whose lives have been completely ruined by shite like this that don't have video or Scottie's money/fame.

Countless.

That is so terrifying.

This was released by his attorney, so what were you expecting? So instead of taking shots at the police, let's see all the evidence and then make an educated statement based on facts!l

All you guys that love bashing the police, just remember the next time your house is broken into or a gun is put to your head during a carjacking to definitely not call the police because they are just horrible, corrupt people with a badge!
