I guess the mystery of the hurt hand is solved. What a disgrace that whatever that was gets you arrested. It is frightening really.

Scottie is a much better human being than all.of us put together.
I've never understood why people think scottie should aggressively go after the Louisville PD
It was a misunderstanding during an accident that a man died. Yeah scotties morning was ruined for 3 or 4 hours but at the end of the day 3 hours in the drunk tank isn't the end of the world.
Another innocent party that day had their entire world turned upside down.
You have to have some perspective. The cop deserves to lose his job if he broke protocol and was acting like an a-hole on a power trip, but that should be the end of it.

I really try to be pro-cop, but it's impossible when things like this happen. You and I would be fighting for our lives in the same scenario. That's fricked up.

Every white owned business breathing a sigh of relief that Scottie isn’t a dindunuffin

Watch the video. Cop was lying his arse off.
He was arrested the morning of a Major tournament and is STILL being charged with 4 felonies for a complete lie.
His reputation was damaged in his mind I’m sure, and it effected his play day 3 by his own admission.
Sue them.

Plot twist. Video right before this shows Xander stopping his car and telling the cop there's a madman that stole the PGA car behind him and to tackle him to the ground.

The longer video doesn't add much - the key portion is obstructed by the foreground vehicle.
To be clear (edit): The video seems to be very helpful to Scheffler. Given it was a PGA event, there should be someone closer who has a better video.
I want to know what went on as Scheffler moved off the road.

The arresting officer is from Louisiana and was on NOPD before joining LMPD.
I believe he went to Delgado.

where are all our "white priviledged male ran over a cop" posters?
Honestly this is one of the few times I think Scottie should have pulled the athlete “privilege” card.
He was so civil and just got out and let himself be pushed against the car and cuffed instead of saying “I’m the #1 golfer in the world driving into the PHA Championship right now, why are you doing this?”
The only way this cops pants were damaged was from him splitting them trying to run to the car.
Lying and exaggerating cops should be 100% automatic termination with no benefits. Cops version of events is taken heavily in court and rule of law, this can’t be tolerated.
If anything this shows that cops aren’t racist, they are bad cops that are equal opportunity power tripping dickbags

You can be “pro cop” in the sense that “abolish the police” and pushing decriminalization and immediate no cash bail are horrible decisions for society because we need rule of law.
This is why Black Lives Matter and other SJW bullshite is extra harmful, because it goes so extreme the other direction you have to be “pro cop” (including shitty ones) or “anti cop” (including the vast majority of good ones)

Ok fair point, but he is still being charged with them, the charges were not dropped.

What is this would have been you? Do you think it would have been just an inconvenience for just a few hours? He got charged with a fricking FELONY!! This would RUIN a lesser man's life. And you don't understand why the police department should be held accountable. GTFOH. If this "perpetrator" was of different pigmentation, I'm sure your take would be the same.

Because if this was a normal guy and not an elite athlete, these made up charges would stick and an attorney would tell you just accept a plea deal so they go easy on you. These lying douchebags need to face consequences.

If they follow through with this farce of a charge, I think he'd have a reasonable argument that it could effect his reputation given he's known as the clean cut, nice guy on the tour. And he makes money off of his reputation as much as his golfing talent.
I also think you'd have a strong argument that this could hurt him financially if any sponsors pull out (not that I think they will), having to travel back and forth to court, fees for lawyers, etc.
It appears that the officer lied on the arrest report. And LMPD isn't going to hold him accountable for that.
The larger issue is this is a ongoing pattern of negligence by LMPD. Again, the DOJ came in and found civil rights violations and this shows they have made absolutely no effort to correct that.

They already have a HUGE problem in any lawsuit with Spoliation of Evidence with the bodycam being "turned off" against department policy

That cop is SOFT. Wow.I was expecting the video to be pretty lame and not much anything happening, but that was bad, he drove like 10 feet and stopped. Where was the cop dragged?

I'm sure they are going to say the dragging happened before this and that's why the cop ran up so angrily.
Not saying it did happen, but I imagine that will be their rebuttal.
