Anyway to get out of on campus parking tickets?

I'm assuming the tickets are not linked to your fee bill or you directly, as you said you never registered your vehicle with LSU.
If that is the case, go get a personalized license plate from the DMV for $50 or so and keep your vin# covered up with a sheet of paper on the dashboard.

Didn’t have money to register my car the last term in college. Got a ticket and just put it on my car every time I parked. Guess the campus police never bothered to look at the date on it. I admit I was afraid they would figure it out right before graduation and would give me a blank piece of paper instead of my degree during the ceremony until I paid my fine. Managed to escape though without even paying for the one ticket I got.

LSU cops have statewide investigation and arrest authority. Whether or not they exercise it is your gamble. Also, getting booted is a pretty effective way to make sure you pay the ticket.

Tell them you're a parent visiting campus. Worked for me in the early 2000s.
