THC/CBD gummies? I haven't smoked in over a decade and want to try gummies. I hear they come on slowly which is what I'm looking for. Something where I can still function not super high like a college kid. I'm prone to anxiety if there's too much THC. I'm in CO and don't wanna embarrass myself with my lack of knowledge at the dispensary. Just looking for something to relex me.

The best place to go for advice is a dispensary. Walk in, tell them you know nothing, tell them what you are trying to accomplish and they will lead you.

Just go buy some. Eat one, wait a little while, eat another one.

Yeah just get 100mg packs of gummies or canna-caps (capsules)

I use the indica capsules. 10mg each. When I first started I took one, then after an hour didnt feel anything and took another. That did the trick. Slept well that night.

I really only use at bedtime for rest. I dont sleep well if not.

They come on slowly, then all at once, and I mean that in the best way

Best advice. These people will look to make it a positive experience for you. They don’t get new customers by making fun of them.

If you go to a highly rated, reputable dispensary, those are the people you want to talk to. They go to classes, get training and love talking about weed. They will be super happy to help you, and they can provide the best advice.

Start with 5 mg and each and then work up to 10-20 mg. Edibles can be stronger than smoking. Try a vape pen if you want something more cerebral and functional.

I really like fleur de leaf indica gummies...get em from my local liqour store... 5 mg THC... will usually do half on weeknights to wind down a whole one on weekends to totally check out and feel that good body high. Indica will lead to more of a relaxing body high and Stativa an alert head high

ETA: never forget that McConnell, the liqour lobby and dinosaur arse Republicans want to take away your right to consume these

Tried a large THC gummy bear back when I lived in CA. Like maybe four/five inches tall. Big green thing that tasted terrible. Anyway, I sat there taking small bites while our driver navigated rush hour traffic in Los Angeles. Kept thinking it wasn’t kicking in, but ended up high as a goddamn kite after an hour or so.

My advice would be to start slow and give it time to kick in. Unlike smoking which gives me a high almost immediately, it seemed like the gummy took 30 minutes or more to feel anything.

I hear the best thing to do is eat one every 10 minutes until you feel it. That’s the right way to get the dose right

They hit pretty fast so if you’re not feeling it soon then have a few more.

Here's my advice

You can always eat more
You CANNOT EAT LESS.

Eat a small amount and wait. Then wait some more. Then wait a little longer.

Like hours before you try to increase your dose

Uneven quality, uneven dosage.

It's a free-for-all of sketchy companies and sold by half-wits.

Good grief...

My apologies for ruining a good time.

But when you're giving gummies for medicinal purposes, those people that work there are half-wits, for the most part.

Recreationlly, it probably doesn't matter.
Just dont stack, and you'll likely be fine.

Just buy some 1:1 5mgs. It's not that hard, no need to feel embarrassed.

I’ve tried just about every kind of edible and seltzer. They all just make me sluggish and slightly drowsy. Some people have reverse effects I guess.
