Not my car. Just car shopping..
Very open to anything that will remain reliable past 10yrs as I keep cars for a while. Drive 5-6K miles/yr.

I don't like the new front ends but really like the brand. The quality of the interior and the drive are incredible. And PL Lexus is good. Unfortunately thy are going to smaller engines with turbos.

Umm...no. I use to drive nissans however they have switched over to CVT transmissions. Most models after 2001 have a transmission ran by a rubber band...no thanks.

I drive an ES350 as my daily driver. It's not a flashy car, but I commute a long way and am in sales, so so needed something with room and decent mileage. I can't complain. If you want something sporty, definitely get the GS, but if you are just looking for nice, simple comfort, it's a good car.

Nothing with a real transfer case is a cvt.

I have an ES350 and have been very happy with it. My first car was Toyota Camry XLE and was very happy with it. Only reason I got rid of it was because it getting on up there in age. My next car was a Honda Accord EX. It was ok but not nearly as smooth riding and comfortable as the Camry. I knew I needed a newer nicer car that would be comfortable for driving around MS and LA for meetings often so I got the ES350. It's the body style they had right before they changed to this newest one. I just think it has a classic look and I haven't had any problems with it so far. I never had any problems with my camry either. I think it's a practical luxury vehicle and it's not flashy "look at me" like Mercedes and BMWs are.

I had a 2014 ES350 and got rid of it about s year ago.
It was a fine car, but nothing special. Really comfortable to ride in, even more boring to drive.
I’ll never own one again.

No, I just got bored with it. Much faster than anticipated. Would prefer a car with tighter handling and more horsepower.

I just went from an 07 ES to a 14 GS - the GS is probably much more your speed. Still a little boring, but a plush ride and it holds the road better. Also gets more HP out of the same block and is RWD (or AWD), versus the ES FWD.
