Excuse me, men are talking. Nothing with a real transfer case is a cvt.

Most of their models are CVT with the exception of the GTR and some pickups. Thought we are talking cars here?

Anyway even if you have one of their trucks they have ruined them which is why I will never buy another after being very disappointed with my 09. The electronic nannies are way to intrusive.....

Wide open throttle restriction that limits power to 40% between shifts. This makes shifts smoother and protect the trans rather than just making a decent trans. After removal with a tuner you wouldn't believe the power difference.

Anti-lock now is part of the traction control/limited slip and it is terrible. Activates WAY to early because the designers assume everyone is an idiot. Try to correct a slide and the traction control freaks out and tries to kill you. Try to stop on loose gravel, the anti-lock activates and it takes twice as long to stop.

Dealer only parts priced way too high. One of my cat converters went out. Damn thing was intentionally designed so aftermarket would not fit. 6 inches on one end and 2.5 on the other. Literally no one carried them at the time and the dealer wanted close to $1200.

I was a big nissan fan for 20 years but they have developed a lot of issues that I refuse to deal with.

ES350 is entry level. Gotta star somewhere.

Get an Avalon.

My wife drives a GX. I'm pretty sure she likes it a lot more than she does me.

The 80 series was ok with the newer motor. The head gasket is a ticking time bomb, though. If you want a real wagon, go Fj-60.

Currently building a GX470 for my son. We are giving it a lift and some armor. Also going to replace Lexus emblems with Toyota ones, as it's a 120 series Land cruiser currently in pink panties.

My gf has a 2014 GS350, I really like it. looks sharp, drives smooth, nice acceleration, good gas mileage (~30 mpg) I would recommend it.

Congrats on overpaying for a Toyota Avalon...

I priced both. You don't really pay much more for the Lexus to be honest. Once you get everything that's included in the Lexus in the Toyota, it's like 2 grand cheaper. And the service, finish, etc. that comes with the Lexus is worth it. Had this discussion yesterday with someone who had to bring in his Chevy. He asked if it's a pain when they give me a loaner since he always has to fight to get one.....I kind of laughed on the inside since I just request one on the way there, and they'll have snacks, drinks, and the car ready for me when I get there.
