ES = 60+ year olds

You really want an IS/GS/LS

and if you go with an LS, make sure to get the long wheel base. Lets people know you got it like that.

Don't get the ES you cheap frick

Wife had a 2013 ls460l for a while. Optioned out for way too much.

Amazing vibrating chair on wheels. Great construction. Quiet as a tomb.

I will always buy Toyota and Nissan because of that car.

Currently hunting for a turbo 2007 is350 for a weekend toy.

ETA: did not see the post above me... God damnit

ES production has moved to Kentucky - which will probably kill it. I don't want to buy no "American" made Lexus.

(Seriously, the Japanese make outstanding cars.)

My dad's second car is an ES.

It has a loud interior for a luxury car and a full tank is just around 300 hwy miles in eco mode. other than that, I like the interior, fairly roomy for a midsized

Pre-2016s were still made in Japan. After October 2015, they started making them in Georgetown.

A Lexus product would probably be on the short list if not for the front end. Might consider an Acura TLX instead or the new Regal GS.

I would prefer a conservatively styled exterior with an interior that looks solid even after 7-10 years of abuse. The grill for Lexus just looks so ugly to me.

Nissan?

We no longer live like new money millionaires.

My daily is a 15 year old Nissan on 35s. Climbing steadily toward 300k miles with zero real repairs.

Their motors, trans, and driveline are EXTREMELY overbuilt.

ETA: I was saying it made me see the light for Japanese durability.

Does not compute. I've ridden in dozens of, I guess, "Lexi" and none have been remotely loud.

The GS has closed the gap with the ES on ride quality - particularly post 2013 and would now be my recommendation as a "baby" LS - you can get extraordinary deals off leases on these things - 3 years, ~30k miles, ~$30k, certified with a residual warranty.

That's a lot of car for the scrilla. LS of similar use is still in the $50s at that point.

Wife has ‘14 GX...she loves it. I like it cause it’s a legit body on frame suv w/ bullet proof v8. Plus it’s a Prado Landcruiser in a suit. Dealership experience is top notch. Can’t go wrong with any Lexus.

I absolutely hate Yukon Denalis and Rams for this reason but surprisingly I don't mind Lexus.
