Does not compute. I've ridden in dozens of, I guess, "Lexi" and none have been remotely loud.

Compared to my f150 it is significantly louder. I have not been in any of the other models and dont recall his older ones(he gets a new one every 18 months) but this one '16 is loud compared to my truck. no where near my jeep but definitely louder than my truck and wifes tahoe

I've always been Toyota/Lexus fan.

I recently wanted to rent a Yukon but got a QX80 instead in DC and drove it all over Western MD & Eastern WVa.

Wonderful tank. I was impressed.

Owned one of those too. Was a really good car but the wife likes her LX better.

The exteriors (particularly the front end) look pretty terrible to me. Interiors look fine.

I think for a Jap car, it has a decent interior. exterior is pretty bland for a lexus IMO

The LX 470 might be the best vehicle ever manufactured

The J80 is more capable off road...the J100 is a better daily driver. Both are awesome vehicles. The main drawback of the J80 is the newest one built is 20 years old now where you can get J100's half that age. Then again...my J100 is 15 years old...so who am I to judge?

Did you mean GX460 or LX570? There isn't a GX570.

I thought they were cancelling the GS.

I don't think so. I think they're going to move it up a clear notch from the ES as a 4-door coupe to compete with the CLS and A7 - I think it's a good move.

Lexus was essentially competing with itself with the ES vs GS for several years before price drift pushed the GS up about half a notch, and even then.

The problem will be - the ES at that segment will be competing with another Toyota product - the Avalon (as mechanically, there will be little difference as both platforms will roll out of the same factory - only the finishing touches will be different).
