Been arrested twice
First time got taken in driving a truck full of drunk people. I had a couple and refused to blow(got pulled over for tint). Everything was dropped less than a week later .
2nd time I was drinking a beer waiting for a taxi at a local bar that threw a block party. It rained like you’ve never seen and ruined the event so vendors left snd it was empty. Cop pulled through and decided to be a huge count.
I gave this guy absolute hell. He slammed my face into his hood and arrested me. A few hours after he put me in a holding cell he came back and asked if I wanted my belt and shoes back. Walked me to the back door and said have a nice night. I shook his hand and thanked him for letting me go. He smiled and said no worries man, but damn you’ve got a mouth on you.
Both in my early 20s(I’m 36 now).
Good times.

Was riding with a drunk guy in the middle of the night when he decided to do a J turn right in front of a cop. He then decided to run from about a dozen cops til they set up a road block which we crashed into. Needless to say I was arrested even though, as a passenger, I'd done nothing wrong. Had to spend the night in the clink until they could confirm I wasnt a wanted criminal.

Twice. Fighting in college, found not guilty in cit court. Actually knocked a guy on his arse who was attacking a campus security officer at a streaking on campus. The campus cop testified on my behalf after the guy I whipped swore out a warrant.
No 2. Some fig punched my brother in the face through the car window while parked in traffic on Conti Street in NOLA. I got out of the car and whipped his arse. Problem was he was carted off in an ambulance. About nine black city cops showed up, one who had witnessed it, and all agreed to let me go. Their white supervisor showed up and decided I needed to get run in. Charges later dropped.

I was briefly picked up for obstructing the sidewalk while walking across the street...
NOPD was just harassing the local entertainment venues on Maple Street.
Was let go in a few minutes, so was an illegal detention rather than an arrest.

When I was 23 or 24 I was waiting for a cab in front of mellow mushroom. I was drunk and wasnt going to drive. They wouldnt let me back in to use the restroom so I walked behind the bar and peed in the grass along the fence. Got cuffed and thrown in a cop car for a while, didnt get processed. Ended up having to take a course with a bunch of crackheads to get the charges dropped.

Buddy was fighting another dude at Celebration Station in BR. Dude had buddies in the crowd.
I was tasked with keeping the fight fair from the "demo that only wants to jump people"
I felt a hand grab my shoulder and yank.
I spun around with a full shoulder right cross.
Apparently the police showed up to break it up.
Poor cop got floored. I was immediately trying to apologize.
His partner tackled me from behind and hit me in the back of the head with his elbows more than a few times. cuffed and shackled in the crab. thrown in back of the unit.
Went to the station. Dad came and picked me up. Had a headache and lumps on the back of my head.

Never been to jail.
Got lucky a small town sheriffs daughter had a crush on me many moons ago.
Sat in cuffs for a long time until the person he arranged to pick me up came and got me.

Not much to tell. These two guys were selling vessels, boat & barges mostly, that were beached on waterways around the area, usually due to a hurricane. These guys didn't own these vessels, they would just pump them out and tow them away, a federal crime.
These guys came to me to see if I was interested in their "inventory", I told them if they brought me all the paperwork, I'd check it out. A few weeks later the feds came to see me, apparently these guys told someone that my company was going to buy some barges. All I could do was promise to call them if these guys showed up, I didn't have any contact info.

I got charged once with assault with a deadly weapon( slapjack) but they dropped it a day later. The other guy admitted he jumped me in a parking lot & it was his slapjack.
