I do this but not with cleaning the house. I do it with cooking usually (in fairness I am the better cook so I would rather do that anyway).

If she's gonna be like that, I have purposely gone hunting/fishing to have something dead to clean in the driveway when she gets back. Even if I have to shoot some doves in the 'hood just to have some blood n feathers around...I also pay for a weekly maid service bc I love my wife...

My favorite is when my GF goes out of town and when she gets back complements me on how great the house looks. What she doesn't realize is I maybe cleaned for an hour total, I just don't make a fricking mess 24/7 so I don't have to spend hours cleaning.
