Anyone else’s gas bill double since Delta Utilities took over from Energy in Baton Rouge?

Use to pay around $45 per month consistently. Even in the blizzard last year and the deep freeze the year before.
Now it’s been $95 to $100 the last 8 months or so.

Delta after the takeover:
You won't notice a thing. We'll still provide the great service that you are used to! (Don't pay attention to your bills doubling. Just a minor thing.)

Mine had been high, but last month it was $38, and I don't feel like I did anything different. Hope it stays like that

One month in the winter it was $240. In 15 years here, Entergy was never over $70

So Entergy wasn't the devil?
Be careful what you wish for...

Think about that everytime a candidate for Public Service Commission says they'll work to reduce your utility bills.
Why do people spend thousands of dollars to get elected to an office that pays roughly $60k/year?
Because the fringe benefits are incredible....

Had gas turned off at a rental property in between tenants. Delta said it would take them a week to schedule to come turn it back on.

We had three bills in a row that were about 300% higher than entergy..but the last 2 or 3 bills have gone back to where they were pre-delta.

Well I haven't noticed my entergy going down despite the fact that my gas bill is no longer on the bill (I'm in new orleans)
My Delta bill has gone up but not doubled

Then you must have electric heat because your gas bill should ramp up in the Winter and come down in the Summer. Either that or you turn off the heat.

Gas is pricey because of the Iran war, baw.

My whole house is gas. I know the difference. I installed one of my hvacs myself.
My gas bill would go up a little in the winter but never more than double like it did this year since Delta took over.
