Anybody got any cool pirate stories?

Saw a couple videos on the internet the other day of people encountering pirates in the gulf of mexico. Idk when the videos took place but it brought me down a rabbit hole of watching present day pirate attacks.
So any of you folk ever encountered a pirate or heard of someone encountering a pirate?

I saw Roberto Clemente throw out a Houston Astro from right field after the base runner was rounding first base after single.

They're building a new Pirate themed loung in the Magic Kingdom. Not sure exactly where yet but Tortuga Tavern would be my preference.

The pirate attacks in the Gulf are happening in the Mexico part of it.

The US Navy is a bit more focused on boosting their sailors and tranny's right now...no time to worry about securing the Gulf.

I went to the pirates museum in Nassau. Looked sketchy from the outside but was actually pretty good.
