Anybody got any cool pirate stories?

4Saw a couple videos on the internet the other day of people encountering pirates in the gulf of mexico. Idk when the videos took place but it brought me down a rabbit hole of watching present day pirate attacks.
So any of you folk ever encountered a pirate or heard of someone encountering a pirate?

The pirate attacks in the Gulf are happening in the Mexico part of it.

The US Navy is a bit more focused on boosting their sailors and tranny's right now...no time to worry about securing the Gulf.
