Any baw driving a 1.3L 3cylinder car?

I've driven a Rogue. Rides well and has good pickup for a 3 banger. It's a twin turbo that can belt out 200 hp.

I got a new 2025 Trax LT about a year and a half ago after my old car caught fire.

I have to haul mulch 1x per year so a 3 cylinder is for the homos. I ended up financing a duramax for 108 months. Should handle mulch no problem.

I have an Equniox as a company car. Not something I'd buy for myself but I haven't had any issue with it and I beat the shite out of that thing. I floor that bitch multiple times a day. 85K trouble free miles.

Computers really made a performance difference in engines. We’ve got 3 and 4 cylinder engines more powerful than some V-8’s from a few decades ago. The only question is of long term reliability.

No idea about the engine, but from my experience out here on the north side of Baton Rouge, the $25K Chevy Traverse (???) is going to be a strong candidate to replace the Nissan Altima.

The farther you get away from flat plane crankshaft the more vibration you incur. The thinner the factory oil specs the less film the bearing has as cushion.
They can tell me about balance shafts and their usefulness, but putting any meaningful boost to a 3 or 5 cylinder with this 0-20W oil is asking for a shortened lifespan as the crank finds a harmonic it doesn’t like.

I grew up without a lot of money and my first vehicles were 4 cylinder low power vehicles. The worst was a 2.3L Isuzu Amigo that couldn't get out of it's own way. When I moved to Oklahoma that turd could barely crawl up the hills in that part of the country. I swore if I ever made decent money I was never driving an underpowered vehicle.
Over the years I got to V6 level and it was better.
And now that I bought a 5.7L V8 Tundra last year, I'm never going back to a 6 or 4 cylinder engine.
The wife drives a 4banger turbo Audi and it's fun, but I want raw HP.

Those were really damn great engines. I think they still put those same engines in the Japanese mini-trucks.
