InBev can get fricked. There are already thousands of American-owned breweries making American beer.

Whitworth had an opportunity to show strong, decisive leadership after the Dylan Mulvaney tranny fiasco. Instead, he waffled trying to appease a set of people who hates his customer base. He showed the exact opposite of leadership. In fact, to this day, I don't think he's fired the Bud Light marketing director who openly mocked his beer's patrons.

I mean, go for it. We don’t call them “European beers”, either. German, Belgian, etc.
Now, he may not like the requirements for being able to claim a certain protected geographical indication, but that’s a separate issue

One of many products I miss. Can't believe they don't distribute out here.
They are extremely protective of their brand and products. The only way they expand distribution is to spend years perfecting the water supply that will create the beer to the exact specifications as the original. They want it to taste identical to the spring fed water supply as the original. They have chemists in house that work on it before moving into a new market.
Yeungling is awesome.

I see learning has occurred.
It’s amazing what happens when money is taken and what changes

Meanwhile, Americans want to ditch Anheuser-Busch.

Didn't we have moderates on here assuring us that the Bud Light boycott would have absolutely no effect?

Chris Farley was sporting bud light before it was cool.

“It’s about time the whole industry begins to unilaterally use one of the strongest adjectives available to us: American. Leave ‘domestic’ for other less glamorous uses,” Whitworth said.
I'm going to start doing that for the domestic product that we sell. I like it a lot.
American made.
Quality. Assurance. Standards.
