Anecdotal there seems to be a lot more illness going around.

Since June in my circle of acquaintances and M.D. GP friends they have seen large uncommon summer waves of Flu and non-Covid upper respiratory infections going around in the Arklatex.

Hide everyone away from everything for 2 years, force social distancing and hand sanitizer then let them get out and about again around each other tends to spread germs pretty fast.

Could be something, or it could just be confirmation bias since you're looking out for it more because covid made everyone a little more aware of things like that.

Definitely the herd immunity is down across the board. It probably didnt help that millions got an immune system altering experimental gene therapy.

Yep. My kid’s school had a big wave of the flu hit it in late May. We all got Covid at the end of April into May and then my wife and daughter got the flu a couple of weeks later.

We all got hit with the flu in early June. I don't ever remember summer illnesses like this in the past.
I think there is just a rush of people getting caught up on all the normal illnesses they didn't get over the last 2 years due to a lot of the population removing themselves from society.

Ever since I got the covid vaccine I seem to get sick a lot more and stay sick longer. Seems that it hurts your natural immunity.

Went to Orange beach June 18. Everyone came back with Covid(5 kids, 5 adults). Brother/Sister-in-law still testing positive(for work) but haven’t had symptoms in a few days.

I’m just here to say frick the never-ending waves of stomach flu that keep blowing through daycares. I don’t think one ever develops an immunity to this.
