So....nuclear?

This should be the easy choice, but too many morons think we live in the same world as 1986 USSR with Chernobyl.

We just need to do our part to save the planet. Don’t take long trips, only drive your EV when necessary. Don’t need big homes, everyone can live in much smaller apartments and keep your thermostats above 75 in summer.

It takes all of us

It’s not “running out”

It’s being diverted to stupid shite

As someone who has a portion of his job in the power production sector there really needs to be a massive influx of new power production.

They are going to frick around an we will all end up with rolling blackouts.

Backlogs for the big line transformers are stupid. Parts needed for the giant steam valves are critically out and having to be made per order. No more "on the shelf" these days. Covid lockdowns hastened the supply chain failures. There are. Myriad of ancillary parts also backlogged. If there is a major event we can't fix our machines..

Not to mention the lack of companies able to repair these giant Turbines. You better get in line and wait for them to get to you.

The electrical backbones need some major investments. You don't build that shite out overnight.

I do always appreciate people from South Louisiana talking about how they won’t eat the bugs.

Bro you do eat the bugs. You been eating the bugs.

Our governor is begging for more tax dollars to save the bug harvesters so we can eat more bugs in the future.

i will never understand why we have this disdain over the cleanest and best source of energy on the planet

It unfortunately lost the PR battle decades ago. It’s a shame. Hopefully it’ll make a comeback.

Aside from being clean and efficient it also happens to take up way less physical space than any other form of energy.

Not buying what you are saying. You keep using shortcut words and phrases and abbreviations for stuff as if readers are going to know what you're talking about.

Once we completely ban the internal combustion engine and everyone finally has an electric car, we won't have to worry about this anymore.

Reaping the harvest of the green cult. Folks say the U S. is the "Saudi Arabia" of coal, but that's an understatement.

When the rolling blackouts come, remember the politicians who demonized energy and the fact they will likely be prioritized to have power because they're "important".

Small modular reactors is the true answer to the future grid demand. Too bad the govt red tape is holding up the progress.
