Dear Facebook,
Prime has now turned into two week shipping. I ordered a package that was supposed to arrive two Wednesday’s ago. Never got a notice that they changed the delivery date and it is now arriving today which is 2 weeks after I ordered it. Will this be the new normal “with these trying times” for amazon?

Pay for the overnight and quit bitching

I haven’t had a single delayed package from amazon through all this. Not saying it’s not annoying from your perspective, but you may be the exception rather than the rule.

I ordered an office chair that I legit thought got lost in the mail until it randomly showed up at my porch like two weeks later.
Everything else I order (movies/video games) no longer arrives on release date but usually ships on release date and arrives two or three days after.
I hate to be that guy, but I really don't think I should have to pay for Amazon Prime during the pandemic if this keeps up

What are you trying to order? I bet a local store has it.

When the original delivery date came and went you didn’t think about...I don’t know...sending an inquiry or something?

Only certain things have been 2 days during the shutdown as they focused on household needs over other items
Saying that, everything I’ve ordered has come in on time with the exception of a USPS delay

this wasn’t even worth a Facebook post

Everything I've wanted to order gives me a delivery estimate of about one week. I've just purchased the items locally instead.

Last three items I ordered have arrived at least two days after the promised Prime shipping time.

but you may be the exception rather than the rule.

Amazon, is 100% using this corona to slack off 2 day shipping. They seem to just randomly pick dates.

I'm not in exactly the situation as the OP but I used to be able to get 99% of the stuff I ordered from Amazon in 2 days or less. Since the virus hoax started I'm not able to get anything in less than 6-8 days.

I was having issues with 2-day delivery before Covid 19 jammed them up. Amazon has become a last resort option for me.
