I gave up on expecting getting things within 2 days, so I just take the $1 credit on "media downloads" and get things shipped in a week.

More empty promises from an ever worsening company. They probably should've tried to get 2 day shipping right before attempting to do it in 1.

I think the problem isn't the company, its something about the state of Louisiana that keeps them from opening up a distribution center.

In a lot of other places, not only is 1 day shipping common, if you live in an urban area, the selection for 1 hour delivery is surprising as frick.

For example, right now (10 PM Thursday night), I'm promised these earbuds on Monday, July 1 if I order now.
Thursday to Monday does not equal "2 day shipping". Sure, it might mean two business days, but they do ship deliver on Sundays and can deliver Saturdays.

What is the delivery expectancy for you for this same product?

I'll get them by Sunday if I order in the next 18 hours.

Have you gotten anything from the treasure truck?

Most of the stuff is over your way and too far for me, but they have some pretty awesome deals on it.

Got this for just 80 bucks last Saturday when I was headed over that way anyway.

I don't think Louisiana/Mississippi/Alabama have any distribution centers, putting them in a black hole.

I don’t know what to tell you. I usually just have my courier(s) meet them at their shipping headquarters to handle the transaction.

Mississippi has one in extreme north of the state.

I'd imagine that 90+% of LA orders flows in via I-10 from the multiple centers they have in Mobile and Houston.

But yeah, LA is definitely in a boxed black hole with surrounding centers not making it worthwhile to plug.

Amazon 1 day shipping

What do you think that means? I think most people have these wrong ideas about what 2 free day shipping is. It isn't that you will receive your package in 2 days, just that Amazon will have it shipped out of their facility in 2 days. I'm sure the 1 day shipping is the same thing, that they will have your product shipped out of its facility in 24 hours after order.

Seems like you guys are expecting the package to reach you within 24 hours of ordering. Now if you pay for overnight delivery you should expect it to be there the next day or 24 hours later. Notice the difference in the wording here, over night delivery vs one day shipping?

Lol at people who think the only feature of Prime is 1 or 2 day shipping.

If you are not happy then by all means go stand in line at Walmart to buy your little ear buds. It will be totally worth it.

One day shipping means it will get to the destination in one day.

If I went to the post office and said I want one day mailing on this, it doesn’t mean the post office would take my letter and hold on to it for one day before mailing it out. It literally says on the amazon site, order this before XX minutes and get it tomorrow.

I ordered a medical scooter for my bum leg on Monday afternoon and had it by Tuesday morning. Granted I’m 15 miles from a distribution center, I was disappointed it took as long as it did.

I've probably had one time where my order turned into a 3 day delivery, and it was during the holidays.

Do you live in BFE or something? Are they having to send it by train, horse, and canoe?

I mean, I live in rural St. Landry Parish, and rarely have issues getting things on time.

That is not a fair example or comparison.

Does the post office have to receive your order, process payment, have item pulled from inventory, have item properly packaged and then begin the shipping process?
