More empty promises from an ever worsening company. They probably should've tried to get 2 day shipping right before attempting to do it in 1.

Haven't had the first issue. By the time I do have one, they'll have gotten it right so much that it could be forgiven.

I ordered something at about 5pm and got it in the mail the next afternoon. Still don’t know how that happened

A little tentative to admit but for pretty much anything I need during the course of a week, I'll spend the 2-3 minutes it takes to order on Amazon rather than even considering getting into BR traffic. Point is, between my kids, pets, and myself I'll average at least 2-3 deliveries a week. I don't know that I've ever had a single delay with 2 Day Prime shipping out of literally hundreds of orders over the past several years ...and I find it well worth the yearly fee.

No issues here...

*Feel it important to say I do stay exclusively loyal to and support a few locally owned retail businesses that offer excellent and worthwhile customer service. I feel like they've "earned' my loyalty... but sadly the traditional, local brick and mortars that strive to be a cut above by offering superior service with consistency is fast becoming a concept that few seem to be familiar with.

I don't think Louisiana/Mississippi/Alabama have any distribution centers, putting them in a black hole.

Not my experience. I'm in Baton Rouge, been a Prime member since 2009, literally hundreds of deliveries... I would guess it may have happened but I cannot recall a single delay or any issues. Distribution center or not, "2 Day" is still "2 Day" for me and I feel the $119 per year "Prime" membership pays for itslf several times over.

IIRC, at first the membership used to be $79...been raised at least a couple of times but still well worth it IMO.

ebay is always cheaper and it has tax free and free shipping if you just pay attention to which sellers ad you purchase from

amazon prime is a scam to make you pay for something you can get for free elsewhere

You probably don’t know the difference between shipping and delivery. Far too many people expect a product at their door in 1 or 2 days when all Amazon is promising is that it will be out of their hands in that time. Even then, 99% of what I order does arrive in 2 days but if it doesn’t, it doesn’t mean Amazon didn’t uphold their end of the bargain.
