I am glad she was arrested and fired. She should not be working with kids.

I got spanked bad too, but the level of hate and disdain coming from that mom and the lack of control makes it worse than anything I ever received. I definitely had the wrath of God from getting yelled at, but when you physically punish your child, you need to be in control of your emotions.

You can be fine with hard arse whoopings for young adults and also not fine with what appears to be unhinged anger from the parent towards the child they're supposed to protect.


Massive difference between the two. My folks spanked the shite out of me during my childhood but did it in this calm, cool demeaner. They always hugged me after as well.

In 9th grade we had a coach who doubled as a shop/FFA teacher. He had a big arse paddle and if you got it, he did it in front of all the guys and when I tell you he hit your arse with it, not love taps, he would hit your arse so hard your feet would nearly come up off the floor.
