Watching the testimony of the GBI investigator. He said the first shot was in the chest with 12 gauge buckshot and Ahmaud still kept fighting, punching Travis McMichael multiple times. Another shot hit Ahmaud in the shoulder.

Dude was fricking tough. Shows what can happen in a real "defense" situation (Travis was obviously the original aggressor). I've read a lot about how 12 gauge loaded with buckshot will end situations quickly at distances further than point blank, but if Amhaud had been able to get control of the gun Travis could have wound up dead too.

And NAACP folks want police to "shoot to injure".

I haven't followed this story at all. Was he really shot in the chest with a 12 guauge buckshot and still kept coming? That's insane if true.

A guy I went to HS with shot his parents one night with a 12 gauge. He later wrote one of our childhood friends from Angola that when he shot his dad (massive 6'6 300lb+ guy) he blew his arm completely off and his dad kept running at him until he shot again. If you know you're about to die you will keep going for that gun until you absolutely cant move anymore

It's exactly why you shoot to kill and not shoot to injure.

It's over now but it was on the 11Alive, Atlanta news, youtube channel. They might post the whole thing at some point.

From the information coming out, sounds like maybe Travis would've deserved it

People watch too many movies and bitch about a cop shooting someone 20 times.

I believe Michael Brown advanced like 25 feet between the time he first got shot till the final shot finally killed him.
