The original was Walt Bennetti (he ran for mayor and got crushed). He got caught (by a lot of people) and then handed it off to someone else.

No. I know Walt. I can tell his style. (Like outing alters here). I too thought he was Walt when he was going back and forth about the fire station. Because Walt had posted the video that embarrassed the administration.

Though after reading and seeing that Dennisons focus was mostly on planning and zoning. It was easy to figure out what he did. Walt didn't really work. He I think gets paid to post for Italian Pie online or something. I thought they were the same.

I've been avoiding Kenner Bruh and the dozen other Facebook pages since the election.

As far as Walt getting crushed. I agree but it's hard to beat anyone backed by Buisson. He is a hard core libertarian and his Pennsylvania upbringing doesn't gel with the Kenna Brah way of doing things.

My problem was driving around in a big truck not being real familiar with the area trying to make 40 stops. That was not fun lol.

So you're basically saying that Kenner and Metairie sucks because you don't know where the frick you're going?

Ok, makes perfect sense...

People don't realize the way Metairie and Kenner are designed, and I don't blame the brainiac OP because he doesn't know the area, but it's really easy to get around.

It's designed that if one particular E/W or N/S roadway is congested, there's so many more options to hit. If I-10 is backed up, I'll hit Vets or one of the "West" roadways, West Esplanade, W Napoleon or W Metairie. It's really simple.

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel everything west of the causeway is complete shite. Sure there may be some nice streets, but I’d rather just leave the entire area if I was going to live between the causeway and the airport.

Get off the interstate dude...

It's just you... There's some very nice areas West of Causeway... Have you not seen some the neighborhoods North of West Esplanade from Causeway past Transcontinental.

Just drive up and down and the area around Folse Dr and you'd understand.

Al Jr just built this thing on Folse where his old man's house originally was...

It’s definitely just you. Everything north of w esplanade all the way through the Kenner line is nicer than 90% of Baton Rouge

Like Katrina... Metairie and Kenner were spared other than flooding on the outlining canals only because Broussard made the pump operators leave town, and Old Metairie flooded because of the shite that came from Orleans Pairsh.

I agree the area is more congested than BTR, but Bud Broilers is a pretty good place for a hamburger.

And aren't people overwhelmingly bitching about how homeowner's premiums are skyrocketing? That'll certainly help the issue.

Agreed, it’s exponentially easier to get around Metairie/Kenner than Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge’s infrastructure is designed for a city about half its actual population.

Unless you have to go somewhere on vets near causeway at 5 pm, there is never a need to sit in traffic anywhere in Metairie. Just go around it

Baton Rouge has perfectly synchronized lights. They’re timed to ensure that every car must stop at every light. It’s magical.

LSU has shithole areas touching two sides, and bad areas in 5 miles proximity in the other two directions. Yes, the area is a shithole.

And the opinions of people who went to college here 20+ years ago don't count for much because they don't really know how bad it's gotten and just remember their good old days. I've lived in the middle of this shite, and it's worse and getting worse still.
