I mean, I agree that theres no comparison.

I was just laughing at his assertion that I can’t afford Mandeville because of a $76k median household income stat when where I do live it is much higher.

This is idiotic so I would take that bet.

We almost moved to St Tammany because most of the houses were cheaper than Metairie..

Nice to know our income is well over St Tammany's median..

Don't really get the point of St. Tammany.

If I wanted to move away from the southshore I would just move out of Louisiana.

I sort of agree. The only reason I would move to St Tammany would have to be something on the water and after my kids were out the house and I was retired.

But there are other places besides St Tammany I could move to and still be on the water

Exactly.

If there's something nice in or about St. Tammany there's guaranteed to be somewhere that has an assload more of whatever that is while also not being located in a dumpster fire like louisiana.

I would just feel claustrophobic living across the causeway. Having to deal with soccer moms, Karen’s, HOA’s, traffic, basic bitches, etc. No thanks.

Not to mention their politicians are no better than ours, if not worse

Kenner is awesome though. Our city hall is an old Macy's in a dead mall that didn't evergreen have bathrooms. The city paid (not exaggerating) $60k a month to rent Macy's but an additional $78k a month to rent bathroom trailers

That is 3rd world Louisiana in a nutshell.

Had to do some business in French Quarter today. Unbelievable the number of male trannies in dresses.

Bring back Mike Yenni! He may be a groomer but he’ll only spend money on underwear for teen boys!
