Dude, if performance anxiety is the problem, as it is for a lot of dudes, go to hims.com or your doc and ask for some damn cialis. There’s no shame in needing a lil help. Dudes who don’t even need it take it because of the results. It really is. My wife has to be in the right mind state for it. She has all kinds of abuse issues from when she was a teen, so bad shite comes up sometimes. It is always best to try to remember that is is not about you. With that said, there are plenty of women who weaponize that shite.
Ferris Bueller had it right for many men.

As I said I'm not solely motivated by that. It's not a top 3 thing to me in relationships. I have had dry spells where I legit worked on myself for 1-2 years without much going on, but I get out of it

No matter how bad a woman hates to hear it, sex is critical for men, especially married men. It's kinda-sorta one of the main physical and mental perks of being married: you don't have to go out and hunt any down. It's non-negotiable for me personally. I always make it worth my wife's while, but if I'm not getting meaningful sex with her, then as far as I'm concerned the marriage has become roommate status, and I didn't sign up for a roommate.
She should definitely get some blood work done and see a physician or two.

I am 53 and I thought averaging 1-2 times a month was bad. Good lord. I may go home and give my wife an extra hug.
