See, I’m also recently divorced, but haven’t had much success dating since the breakup. I had one really fun relationship that lasted for a few months, but nothing since.
I don’t miss my ex-wife AT ALL, but I damn sure miss having someone to talk to like that, someone to go to church with, get groceries with, put up goofy holiday decorations with, make fun of, have make fun of me, cook for, care for, etc.
Without that, I feel like Nothing matters, everything is pointless, and everything is just a waste of time and effort. I feel rudderless, unnecessary, and isolated, just marking time through life.

Agreed. OP needs to get rid of his fear of commitment, but it won’t be done with this girl. With the right one, he’ll dive in with both feet.
His heart has figured out she’s not the one, even if his brain is saying she checks all the boxes. Love is not a logical emotion. You cannot reason yourself in or out.

She's got every quality of a great wife and she's directing it towards you. You won't find better. The sex in marriage is always going to head towards "just good" because it's the same woman for decades. That shouldn't factor in long term once you know it's good. Stable and no drama means a good mom for your kids.
If you're normal and not too self centered you'll grow to love and appreciate her for many qualities you've yet to see or notice.
Again, date her another 7 months, don't be guarded around her and then consider marrying her.

It's really not surprising to read some comments in here, then look at the divorce rate in this country. He is clearly not into her, yet multiple people are telling him he'd be a fool to leave her. Sure, she sounds like she'd make a great wife, but if he's not into her she'll eventually figure that out and leave him. Or he'll eventually become so miserable he'll cheat on her.
Sticking it out and marrying her would be settling.

you aren't alone in that one.
and part of that, i think, plays into my and the OPs issues. do you love the girl or love being in a relationship? this thread is one hell of a therapy session, regardless of trolls.

Let her go, because you sound like you don’t have family priorities. Maybe you want to be single all your life? She obviously doesn’t. Sounds like plenty of guys would love to have her as a wife and mother of children.
What’s her number?

That's how I feel exactly. The more I date and the more women I hook up with, the worse it gets because none of them are her, none of them know everything about me. There are no 5 year old inside jokes or any history together and I just want the intimacy, but i'm incapable of actually connecting with anyone. tbf it's only been 3 months so maybe I just need to give it time. But in the meantime, it's damn near impossible not to try and bang every woman in minneapolis.

Hope things turn around for ya, Bob. That's a depressing existence.

It’s kind of sad that people won’t take the time to read something shorter than a magazine article.
That’s why you include pics and gifs

You have exactly what you need to settle down in life but are more interested in looking back rather than moving forward.
Take a deep breath and hopefully you realize that it is best to marry someone who loves you rather than one you love who may not reciprocate back.
Love her for who she is, someone who seems to love you till no end.
Good luck

Yeah, I’m looking into getting a dog. I think that might help. My ex and I had 3 dogs. The one that was mine from before the marriage chose to stay with her, but died of cancer a few months ago. She kept the other two dogs who I know miss me and I never get to see.
Having a dog would give me an excuse to chill by and drink beer on the patio of the bulldog on pint night without feeling like I look like a total psychopath. I feel like so many activities in public aren’t really socially acceptable to do by yourself, but are slightly more acceptable if you bring a cute dog.
