Yes I’m sure my local hospitals are Willy nilly making it up, shutting down their cash cow (elective procedures), and putting not really sick with covid people all over their makeshift covid ICU floors just to go along with it. That makes sense.

Everyone in Louisiana that I know that has tested positive in the last few weeks were all vaccinated
I don’t doubt that the vaccine is preventing serious illness and death, but I don’t for one second believe 97% of Louisiana cases are unvaccinated people.

400% increase in 1 County.... OK, 1 last MONTH, 4 this month.. Or 1000 last month 4000 this month.. Which is it?
Average age of death... 29 or 92?
Comorbidities? Diabetes, Pulmomonary disease, obese, low Vit D... Or 100% healthy and went down like a rock?
Statistics are all bullshite unless you have the data. The statistics in the OP say absolutely NOTHING....and these fear mongers know it.

I don't think the numbers are inflated. Yesterday at work, we had a positivity rate of around 25%. These were sick people of all ages that either presented to ED or Dr's offices. That's way up from a few weeks ago.

No they said 7 were in ICU and 2 on vents. If they are still alive they wouldn't been on the death data but would be counted on the case data and hospitalized data with covid.

I no longer believe any statics put out by any gov't agency regarding COVID. The CDC has become a bigger clownshow than the CBO.

That's in reality only something in low thousands of total deaths in many states. Breaking that down even further, 90% or more of those are elderly or folks with other issues. These numbers are trending down. Last year it was 100% unvaccinated people dying or hospitalized.

Let me clear up my thought: Every line in that graphic says “unvaccinated” - they are using this to scare unvaccinated people not protect hospitals
