Yeah my first car, which I got absolutely raped on admittedly, wasn’t anywhere close to that kind of interest
I bet he’s actually talking about the thousands of dollars in protections/warranty etc type stuff that they offer on top of the actual sales price

For real. Some people pay more and longer for their damn cars than a mortgage ought to be.

The average CRNA in Louisiana makes 167,700 a year
I just happened to see that fact sheet yesterday

Those are not nurses. Those are paid caregivers. Basically a babysitter for old people. Minimum wage type job.

I blame Obama for getting rid of all the "old" vehicles. Cash for Clunkers BS.

It's because Americans are goddamned morons when it comes to fiscal responsibility.
In their defense, we're battered 24/7 with propaganda telling us what great deals we're missing out on. It should be illegal. Really all usury over a certain low percentage should be illegal. It's just legal theft, plain and simple. And we all end up paying for it in the long run with bailouts.

People finance things they can’t afford and are terrible with money. Surprise, surprise.

Odds are there are a few people in this thread lying their arse off and wondering how they're gonna make that next payment

My office is a few hundred yards from a Golden Corral. The cars that the wait staff and cooks drive are:
1. 2018 Nissan Titan
2. 2016 charger
3. 2018 Prius
4. A 328 bmw
5. 2016 Silverado.
When I drive by that I realize that cars are definitely the next bubble. Financing out 7 years in a car that will be worth nothing in 5 is craziness. The amount of car that minimum wage employees can qualify for us not sustainable.

I have never put that much stock in what I drive to get one that I could not afford. My ego is in other areas I guess.
