Here is the deal-government touches almost every industry and taxpayer. Congress doesn’t want to tell us that if the government cuts back 10% it sends the country into a recession. Cut back 20%, the country goes into a depression. Government spending is pervasive.

I can drop Tree Fiddy so will need some OT baller to cover the rest for me.

What do you consider an entitlement? And do you have a source to back up your 50-60% claim?

That's peetty accurate. It's actually right at 60%,
ETA: it is bs that SSI is defined as an "entitlement ", but that's how it is defined.
quote:
Mandatory spending (the budget category entitlements fall under) was $4.2 trillion, or 59.7% of the budget (USAFacts) — Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, veterans' benefits, federal retirement, and similar programs.

Hear me out.
The Fed starts Debt Coin, a fixed 40 trillion dollar Cryptocurrency that wipes out the US debt. All holders of current US debt receive a payment in Debt Coin. Holders of Debt Coin can use it as a second currency. Interest stops accumulating. Federal budget gets closer to being balanced.

Never sell an asset that is making money for you.

Biggest short term concern is that is raises interest rates, which crowds out domestic investment, slowing economic growth.
Biggest long term concern is that higher interest rates attracts a massive flood of foreign capital, which substantially appreciates the value of the dollar. This pushes us further into the spiral of being an importing consumer economy at the expense of being a less competitive producer economy. As we become worse producers, we struggle to raise the taxes we need to pay off our debt, which pushes us further in debt. And the cycle mutually reinforces. More debt, dollar appreciates, domestic production crumbles, more debt. And on and on the cycle grows. Each step along the way crowding out more investment, racking up more interest payments, and further slowing economic growth.
For all the shitty reporting the media has done over the last several decades, I contend that their treatment of economic debt is among the most irresponsible reporting they’ve ever done. It’s downright shameful how poorly our population understands the perils of the financial path we are on.

Who do we owe this money to again? I know some are in the form of bonds to the public but anyone else should go kick rocks, they aren’t getting paid. We’ll put a missile up their arse.

Ah, I don’t count social security or veterans benefits as entitlements because they were earned.

Please enlighten us on our broken system. Why don’t we print our own money? The fed is not part of our government l, it’s a private institution, you’re the idiot
Why would a country as great as America need to “borrow” money? We don’t, it’s a scam that started in 1913 by the Jews. That’s when we were sold down the river.

You’re a fricking fool. Does the government “the people” own the fed? Answer that question and let’s see how much you know.
I was an economist for the state for 30 years dumbass, and you don’t know shite.

What the frick kind of rambling nonsense is this?
My response isn’t going to satisfy your anger, because making someone this misguided understand their error would take way too long to be worth my time. But here’s the highlights version for the third party observers…
The US does print our own money; printing too much of it is what causes inflation. The Fed is not the one who prints money or issues new bonds, that would be the treasury department. We absolutely don’t need to borrow money, greedy politicians have found that promising away borrowed money is the best way to get reelected. That has trapped us in the exact collapse cycle I described above. And no portion of that collapse cycle requires Jews to be able to understand

Eliminate fraud and abuse across all programs. If they can figure out I underpaid taxes…they sure as hell can do this.
Freeze non mandatory spending. They get plenty of fricking money. Make them figure it out.
The situation corrects itself in 5 years.
The government gets enough tax revenue to cover the total pre COVID budget right now. I don’t remember them being too lean to operate in 2020 so that should be enough.

It’s very troubling that a 30 year economist for the state doesn’t realize that the Fed has nothing to do with the national debt. That is 100% a function of the treasury department.

Damn you’re an idiot, you got one thing right. We don’t own our on printing press. We’re getting bilked and you’re part of the problem agreeing to this theft.
The treasury and fed are intrinsically linked. You must get your information from cnn or fox…
