Let me tell you, I have heard similar shite to this since elementary school. I and many of my asian friends took up >50% of the honors classes, black AND white parents would bitch at the PTA meetings every year.

In 8th grade, my parents were at the PTA meeting and when the other parents complained, the parents of the chinese and indian co-valedictorian (and both are physicians who graduated from top 5 med schools) legit told the other parents that if their kid actually put effort to learn, they would deserve to be in the honors classes. but since they don't, its not the asians fault they just work harder

Black voters (who vote for Democrats like no other voting block) make up the difference in many swing states by virtue of their urban populations. Think Detroit, Philly, Cleveland, Cincy, now Atlanta, etc.

Those rooftop programs are really paying off

Asian parents don’t frick around with school and achievements. They push the kids hard to do well.

They don’t like it when groups they see as slackers (rightly or wrongly) get set-asides at their expense.
