You can choose to have one installed in your car if you want to.

Why do you have to force your views on everyone else?

You have the option to do it.

I wonder how long before they start with propaganda similar to those who favor mandatory vaccination? “Stop being selfish, it’s not about you, it’s about saving other’s lives.” On top of the fricking absurd “If you have nothing to hide…” bullshite. Keep giving these fricks more power, fricking idiots.

Can we take a minute and think about emergency situations where this could be deadly?

Parents have a few glasses of wine with and after dinner on a weekend night, little Johnny has an acute head injury playing outside or goes into anephylactic shock, I guess little Johnny dies waiting 20 minutes for an ambulance.

Home invasion while you're asleep, but you had a few cocktails that night. You escape out the back, but can't start your car to get away.

I could keep going.

Have you read 1984?

Lol I have and thought it was a warning of how bad the authoritarianism would turn out.

I guess it was a road map of what we should do.

I'll do better next time, comrade.

The correct term is "massive payoff bill for lobbyists who bought Congress using taxpayer dollars"

But it's in there. Favors galore because they're all in the same gang. Tried to explain it earlier.

Which is why .08 is arbitrary. I don't feel a thing at .1 because I drink a good bit.

My wife is noticeably intoxicated at .05

Then they can put it in themselves. Widely available to order online and not hard for a mechanic to install.

Or you know, they could just get a breathalyzer to check themselves. People do that all the time.

We need to have the government monitor your calls/texts/emails so you don't spread misinformation that could endanger lives!!!

If I saves just one life!!!

Would there be legal repercussions for having an autoshop rip this equipment out of the car?

One of the things that mystify me the most is the number of people out there who absolutely do not want to be free. It totally goes against human nature

Of course there would be.

I'm sure cops would check it is operational during traffic stops and it'd be another thing to check for inspection stickers/brake tags.

Wouldn't take long for people to engineer ways around it though and that is another reason it's dumb AF to force onto people.

Of course there will be. There will also be a market for bypass kits.

But hey, I guess the weak among us won't mind blowing on a tube every time they start a car. Considering the douchebags that make laws don't even drive themselves, of course they don't care. I can't even count how many times per day I start my vehicle. This is just stupid.

And as others have stated. What happens when there is an emergency? Or a malfunction? Is the next step to call the police and have me arrested for ATTEMPTED DUI? I mean, an attempted crime is pretty bad, right?

It's the automatic seatbelt of the 2020s, I guess.

So now we are pro drunk driving? Weird hill to die on

Do you want the government to be able to track every time you go over the speed limit and shut your car down?

If you don't, then you're obviously in favor of people dying from traveling at dangerous speeds.

But its this administration's fault. People forget who really runs this country. Lobbyist and special interest. It doesn't matter who is in office. At the most a president will stay in office 8 years. Presidents come and go.. But to actually get anything done, you need to pay to play.

When something is invented to defeat this system, you can bet your arse it's gonna be some redneck who invented it. It may or may not involve a racoon.

That same kind of event took the Internet by storm — but this time it was allegedly for real — in San Diego, Calif.

"A man who needed to blow into a Breathalyzer to start his car was too drunk to do so, according to a report. What he did next is almost unbelievable. According to what appeared to be a police report posted on Imgur, this guy somehow found a raccoon going through the garbage, captured it and then used the raccoon to blow into the Breathalyzer.

According to the report that was shared on Imgur, the raccoon became unconscious so the man left the raccoon in the car and drove off. A short time after, the raccoon woke up and started to attack the driver."

I love how all the people that voted for Biden are somehow blaming all the shite decisions made by his administration on basically the boogeyman.
