A-10 Warthog flying over BR

Has anyone else seen it? I’m in the southdowns area and heard a weird sounding plane and looked up and saw it flying over pretty low. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in BR or NOLA before so I’m not sure what that could have been about but it was pretty cool.

Just as long as you don't hear the BRRRRRRT..
They use to fly over our camp on the Pearl River all the time back in the 80's.
Their engines make a whistling sound.

Was thinking the same thing. He was flying north so maybe was tending to some NBR action.

The A10 is my favorite to use in DCS/ARMA.

The only military aircraft I see are 3 Northrop Tigers around Belle Chase and a B-52 flying northwest of Lafayette

It was over NOLA a while ago performing barrel rolls and hard turns. It was a sight to see.

They had a range in Kisatchie NF when I lived in Alexandria, and the A10s would fly from Barksdale and blow stuff up. You could hear it in town.

Gun run, west of the smoke. I say again, west of the smoke.

Relax my dear laypeople. Simply one of my jet pilots practicing maneuvers.

They were based out of England AF Base when I,was a kid. Remember hearing the drones of positive hits when they did their runs on targets.

Makes sense. We see F5s and F15s all the time because of the Belle Chasse base but it was just out of the ordinary to see an A10.

Made me think of the jerome powell money printer GIF which than made me think that a GIF of Powell in the cockpit of a warthog shooting out dollar bills would be great, but I'd just rather type what's in my head rather than actually make one. Thanks for the laugh though!
